Physician Group Service Lines & Support

Services Provided: Architecture & MEP Engineering

Size: 11,260 SF

Completion Date: April 2023

JPT designed this HUB Ambulatory Center from an existing restaurant called the Golden Corral. The healthcare system based its service lines on their standard physician group. Specifically, the following program was developed:

Ambulatory

  • Primary Care
  • Obstetrics

Medical Specialties

  • Licensed women’s center
  • Imaging to support Women’s Center through Mammography, Ultrasound and Dexa Scanner

The existing site plan indicated 175 parking spaces of which six (6) are designated for handicapped parking. JPT conducted an accessibility analysis for current guideline compliance from the parking area to the entrance and through the building.

The project scope of work included complete interior demolition of the space. The interior build-out will include new metal stud partitions 10-feet above the finished floor with sound attenuation batt insulation to prevent sound transmission through the new facility. The existing deck height is higher than 10’ and required intermittent metal studs to extend to roof deck with appropriately spaced metal stud angle supports. The space above the top of metal stud partitions and underside of roof deck were “zoned” for pathways for Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection Sprinklers, Electrical and Low Voltage systems.
