To emphasize the Principal of JPT’s knowledge in Healthcare Design, Joel has earned the American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA) Board Certification in Healthcare Architecture. The ACHA provides board certification and professional development for architects who specialize in healthcare. Joel is one out of nineteen architects in the state of Pennsylvania to have earned the ACHA board certification. The ACHA requires its certificate holders to work toward the improvement of healthcare architecture.

Since JPT is a fully integrated architectural and MEP Engineering firm that focuses 100% in the healthcare Industry, projects within hospitals, outpatient centers, pharmacies, and the like are the only type of projects that JPT takes on. Joel is the leader of JPT and has developed our firm into the Healthcare Design organization that it is today. This consists of maintaining direct involvement in every project phase, from programming and design, through construction and owner occupancy. Joel has an acute understanding of healthcare Facility project requirements, standards, regulations, schedule and budget, as well as phasing, ICRA requirements and current trends in healthcare buildings and systems.

Joel is the first at JPT to have received this certification. JPT encourages other members of our firm to apply for this certification as well.
