JPT is very proud of Eric Bowser for obtaining the ASSE 6060 certification which encompasses all things medical gas! ASSE 6060 is the highest certification available in Medical Gas design, which is valuable for patient safety.
The ASSE 6060 certification is for anyone who designs new or existing medical gas systems. Inclusions are the layout, sizing and selection of piping and equipment; assessment of existing systems for resizing or replacement; and locating the medical gas outlet/vacuum inlets. The medical gas systems and equipment that make up this standard include those in healthcare facilities within the scope of NFPA 99, Health Care Facilities Code. The distribution of USP gases, medical vacuum, WAGD (waste anesthetic gas disposal) and the support of gas piping systems is what makes up medical gas systems in healthcare facilities.
