Mount Nittany Health - Cardiovascular Pavilion - Design

As Architectural and MEP Engineering designers on the new 26,000 SF Mount Nittany Health cardiovascular pavilion, JPT Architect's is thrilled to help expand the growing cardiovascular and electrophysiology program. Construction of this structure has officially started and is being built on top of the Mount Nittany Medical Center emergency department.
With patient experience top of mind, this space is designed to foster an elevated workflow that will provide efficiency, privacy and comfort. Cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures will be accommodated in two flex-designed labs. The space will also include an electrocardiogram (EKG) exam room along with four echocardiography/stress test exam rooms. Additionally, eight prep/recovery bays will surround the cardiovascular pavilion, including three private bays.
In 2000, Mount Nittany Health was the first in Centre County, PA to bring cardiovascular services to the area with a cardiac catheterization laboratory. Furthermore, the new Mount Nittany Health cardiovascular pavilion brings cutting edge technology will allow for innovative cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology imaging services.
The grand opening of this new facility is set for the fall of 2019.
